     The Midwest Ghost Society is a paranormal research and investigation group based out of Plano, Il.  Our group was established in 2010.  We have been actively investigating as a team since that time.  We investigate homes, business's and other locations.  Our services are 100% free of charge.  We respect the privacy of all of our clients.  The only locations you will see photos from on our page or our Facebook page are locations we have permission to share findings and photos from.  Our team investigates using the scientific method of investigation.  Our team has investigated in many states including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa.  We serve all surrounding communities including but not limited to Plano, Sandwich, Shabbona, Somonauk, Aurora, Hinckley, Big Rock, Elgin, Sycamore, Dekalb, Waterman, Oswego, Maple Park, Hampshire, Cortland, Earlville, Mendota, Peru, Newark, Millington, Paw Paw, Wayne, Orland Park, Bartlett, St. Charles, Batavia, Geneva, Streator, Coal City, Montgomery, Yorkville, Kaneville, Bristol, Lee, Leland, Henry, Plattville, North Aurora, Sugar Grove, Ottawa, Steward, Dwight, Plainfield, Morris, Channahan, Elburn, Newark, Henry, Sheridan, Naperville and more!

     Midwest Ghost Society is currently not accepting applications for membership (please check back at a later date)

     We are looking for dedicated members who can be an active part of the team, please be realistic in considering the time and commitment level you would be able to give to the team.  Please note this is not a paying position, this is something we do to help others and to have fun and learn about history.  Once we receive your contact form we will email you back with an application.   When we receive the completed application an interview will be scheduled with a couple of the team members.

-Must be 18 years of age or older .

-Must have reliable transportation.

-Must have weekend availability.

-Must have genuine desire to learn all aspects of the paranormal.  (equipment set up, investigation, review, research, etc)

-You don't need to have equipment.

-Must be able to be professional and respectful on all investigations.

-Must have a team player attitude.

-Should be prepared to spend 2-3 hours a week reviewing during the spring-fall season.  (a little less over the winter)

-Computer skills are needed. (email, facebook, etc)
